Now the time, intensity, and energy profile of the system can be controlled based upon the desired procedure being performed and the materials being used. With the push of a few buttons, the dentist can control the time, the light intensity, and also customize a ramp or step process. The system cures most composites in less than five seconds in the cure mode, and successfully activates most whitening materials in the bleach mode. Tips are available in 3.5, 8, and 11 mm diameters.
