Encapsulated Fuji IX GP FAST, a faster-setting version of Fuji IX GP, is now available in five Vita® shades - A2, A3, A3.5, B2, and B3. Fuji IX GP Fast sets in approximately three minutes, 35 seconds after mixing. Additionally, final finishing can begin in as little as three minutes after placement. Its wear-resistant formulation, rapid set, and viscous consistency make it the ideal material for minimal intervention restorations, including Class I and II restorations in deciduous teeth, emergency/interim restorations, long-term temporaries, and core build-ups/block-outs.
As a glass ionomer, it features chemical adhesion to tooth structure, fluoride release that helps promote re-mineralization of enamel and dentin, and long-term marginal sealing ability.
