CareCreditsm, a dedicated health-care credit card, has added another tier to its same-as-cash program, offering patients an interest-free payment option for six months on treatment fees of $700 or more. Now, in addition to no finance charges for 12 months, which is already in place, CareCredit is extending doctors` ability to offer patients a six-month same-as-cash plan as well. Because the payment plan is nonrecourse, the doctor is not responsible should the patient delay or default on payment
