3D Systems introduces FDA-cleared monolithic denture solution

Printing and manufacturing company D Systems recently announced the NextDent Jetted Denture Solution, a 3D-printed set of monolithic (one-piece) dentures approved by the FDA.

According to 3D Systems' press release, this denture model is durable, long-lasting, and esthetically pleasing for the patient. The material is made to work with the company's NextDent 300 printer, which it claims can generate dentures rapidly and efficiently without post-curing.

Ivoclar rebrands prophy line with new flavors

Ivoclar has recently rebranded their Proxyt prophy paste to VivaDent Polishing Paste. Two new flavors, Apple and Bubblegum, are also available alongside the standard mint. The company says is still committed to gentle yet effective polishing for all types of surfaces-natural teeth, restorations, implants, and prosthetics.

AI platform aims to reduce revenue loss

Dental AI platform VideaHealth is rolling out ClaimsAI, an AI-powered revenue cycle management (RCM) tool to alleviate debt for dental providers. Dental organizations can use this software to recover lost profits caused by denials, documentation gaps, and administrative inefficiencies. According to a press release VideaHealth, there is an estimated $15 billion in annual revenue loss across the US dental industry.

SDF now available in gel syringe format

A "quantum leap" in composite dentistry

Inspired by the concept of a "quantum leap," BISCO is launching their new universal composite, Quantium. This composite is designed to be strong and versatile for all types of cases, including anterior and posterior restorations.

Comprised of a nano-micro filler blend, Quantium is stain-resistant, durable, and easily identifiable on radiographs. It comes in six body and enamel shades (A1, A2, A3, A3.5, B1, and B2) as well as two effect shades (Bleach and Incisal). The product's press release notes that "it is available in a 4g syringe or 20ct. 0.25g unit dose refills as well as two introductory kits (syringe and unit dose).
