Xantopren and Optosil Comfort is a modified, standard silicone putty/wash-impression system. Modified with a polyether component, it offers the advantages of polyether, c-silicones, and VPS, combined in one affordable system with these features: resistant to contaminants, including latex gloves and retraction cords; lower contact angle than polyether and VPS materials; and greater dimensional stability than a-silicones.

Xantopren and Optosil Comfort is economically priced to provide a lower cost per impression than VPS systems. The assortment consists of 50 ml noncontamination cartridges, a 4:1 Easy Extrusion cartridge-delivery system, and 900ml putty tubs. It is suitable for putty wash, putty push, and double-mix impressions.
