Aqua-Prep™ F is simple and fast (20 seconds) to use, but provides two clinical benefits: Applied to all bonding surfaces after etching, rinsing and drying, Aqua-Prep™ renews the dentin surfaces. It assures proper (upright) orientation of collagen fibers for optimal penetration and hybridization by the resinprimer system without glutaraldehyde fixatives. It is dabbed or blown off after 20 seconds.
During the 20 seconds, the fluoride creates an effective zone of inhibition and provides a temporary desensitizing effect.
