The coming International Dental Show, scheduled April 8 to 12, 1997, in Cologne, Germany, has already exceeded its previous record of registered firms with display space. More than 900 suppliers from 32 countries will exhibit at the expanded trade-show floor. In 1995, 879 firms took part.

Sponsors of IDS feel one of the main reasons for this growth is the rapid evolution of electronics in dentistry. Numerous firms not previously active in the dental sector now are grasping the opportunity to present their products to the dental trade and to users from all over the world.

More firms than ever before will make use of the availability to exhibit within a framework of group participation. Nine exhibitor groups from seven countries have registered to date. Included in this number is group participation from the Dental Manufacturers of America.
