AAOMS Installed New Officers at Well-Attended 1995 Annual Meeting in Toronto, Held Jointly With Canadian Association

Dr. Edmund I. Parnes, Miami, Florida, was installed as president of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) during the association`s annual meeting in September in Toronto. Dr. Kent Cohenour, Oklahoma City, was named president-elect; Dr. Richard J. Simeone, Bethesda, Maryland, was elected vice president; and Dr. Boyd J. Tomasetti, Littleton, Colorado, was elected treasurer.

Dr. Donald Booth, Boston, Massachusetts; Dr. Robert T. Lindner, Greensburg, Pennsylvania; and Dr. Alan L. Felsenfeld, Los Angeles; were elected trustees from Districts I, II and VI, respectively.

More than 3,800 attended the meeting, which was held in conjunction with the Canadian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. A total of 159 firms occupied 272 booths at the Exhibit Hall.
