Making a breakthrough in sterilization containers for medical instruments, the French company POLYBOX Medical has developed the Polybox, which is made of polycarbonate instead of the usual stainless steel or aluminum. This provides it with many practical advantages over conventional containers, including the ability to accommodate advanced sterilization methods. Transparent for easy viewing, the containers are unbreakable and allow the choice of sterilizing either by cold decontamination or autoclave steam heat. The Polybox measures 7" x 3.156" x 1.18", and is wide enough to hold open forceps.
Available in a variety of colors guaranteed not to fade (yellow, orange, green, and blue), Polybox containers are attractive, as well as practical.
