Zment zinc oxide eugenol cement now is available in a cartridge. The temporary cement is suitable for trial cementation of permanent restorations or cementing temporary crowns, bridges, or splints. The cartridge dispenser is said to provide consistent, clean handling and reduce in-office procedure time and clean-up. The material is said to exhibit exceptional flow for easy and complete seating. Because of its insolubility in the mouth, seepage is eliminated. Mastication reportedly will not disturb a temporary crown, bridge, or splint cemented with the material. Zment zinc oxide eugenol cement is available in 85-gram cartridges.
