Dental professionals can win a trip to Athens, Greece, and patients can win computer games and other prizes through a recently-announced Bausch & Lomb "Olympic Smiles Around the World" art contest for kids.

Patients up to the age of 18 can enter the contest by completing a design with the theme: "A Healthy Olympic Smile Is Part of a Healthy Olympic Body." Contestants pick up the entry form at participating dental offices, then complete the design at home and mail it in themselves. Nine winners will have their art exhibited at the 1996 Olympic Summer Games and reproduced on a commemorative poster, in addition to receiving other prizes.

The dental office sponsoring the grand-prize winner will win a trip for two to Athens. Offices sponsoring the winners receive prizes, including free Interplak™ Power Plaque Remover units and Ray-Ban™ sunglasses.

The contest also will benefit special-needs patients, with Bausch & Lomb donating $1 for every contest entry to a screening program for handicapped athletes.

Dental offices can participate by requesting a free entry kit that includes in-office displays and entry forms. To request a kit or for more information, call Bausch & Lomb Oral Care Division at (800) 633-6363.
