DE's Business Lab: The latest in composite technology

Dec. 13, 2021
Imagine a composite that has antimicrobial properties and virtually eliminates secondary caries. Nobio has created just such a product.

Yes! It's hard to imagine and may sound too good to be true, but Nobio Inc. has created a composite with antimicrobial properties that they believe will virtually eliminate secondary caries. It's called Infinix. One of my least favorite things to do in my practice is remove composites. You never know what's going on underneath, but you do know it's going to be some kind of caries process.

The new product from Nobio is made from a quasi-antimicrobial technology that John Scott, chief commercial officer at Nobio Inc., explains here. The company studied and tested the product extensively and received the first FDA approval for such a product. As a result they have a robust list of bacteria and viruses that it kills.

John explains the scientific ideas behind Infinix, where and how it was created and tested, and most important, how it will benefit your practice and your patients.

It will be launched in February 2022 at the Chicago Midwinter meeting. More than 2,000 dentists already have their names on the waiting list to receive the product when it's available.

Take some time to watch and learn why you need Infinix in your practice. It sounds like the miracle many of us have been looking for. Visit infinix.com for more information.
