Ionosit MicroSpand is a patented, single-component, light-cure base liner that expands to compensate for polymerization contraction. This "controlled expansion" feature virtually eliminates gaps between the dentin and the restoration, thereby preventing microleakage.

Ionosit MicroSpand is a patented, single-component, light-cure base liner that expands to compensate for polymerization contraction. This "controlled expansion" feature virtually eliminates gaps between the dentin and the restoration, thereby preventing microleakage.

MicroSpand, a hybrid resin ionomer, adheres to both composite and dentin. It is radiopaque, biocompatible, bacteriostatic, and releases fluoride. Ionosit MicroSpand is light-cured, permitting unlimited working time for quadrant dentistry.

Because it is a single-component system, there is no mixing involved - therefore, no wasted time, and no possibility of mistake. Ionosit MicroSpand is available in 0.3g syringes. The introductory kit contains two operatory trays, each of which houses five syringes and a mixing pad.
