KaVo introduces the INTRAsurg 500. This versatile, dental surgical unit shows real-time torque, bur speed, and coolant flow during use. The KaVo unit`s surgical flexibility includes:

-One unit works for all implant systems and most surgical applications;

-Pro-gram Level A is pre-programmed with working steps to guide the operator through most implant procedures as well as applications in oral surgery and periodontal surgery;

-Program Level B is user-defined and can be programmed to store up to six whole surgical procedures;

-Program Level C is manual;

-A large, clearly visible display console shows actual torque, bur speed, and coolant flow;

-Motor, tubings, and all instruments are completely sterilizable;

-An automatic flushing cycle for coolant tubing is available;

-Wide range of KaVo surgical attachments and heads for all surgical applications is available;

-Instrument torque can be precisely calibrated to increase safety;

Complete treatment cases, including all parameters used, can be thoroughly documented by connecting a standard printer or PC to the INTRAsurg. INTRAsurg lowers the risk of cross-contamination by delivering pure coolant without air to the surgical area, as opposed to a hazardous-aerosol coolant spray.
