As a children`s dentist, I get to view many other dentists` restorative work. To my dismay, many of the composites are poor! This is especially true of the Class II composites. Prior to this observation, I was seeing poor Class II amalgams! How can we expect to see quality work when basic amalgam restorations have never been mastered? How can we expect that quality will be achieved when the majority of dentists are not utilizing rubber-dam isolation?
