Interview with the SDI team

You've simplified the process of shade selection by offering only four options. Was that based on customer feedback?

Yes! Aura Easy (trade name: Aura eASY) is a universal nanohybrid composite for general dental needs. The product allows you to eliminate guesswork and find the right match to produce brilliant restorations. There are just four simple shades, which easily equate to the Vita shade guide.

Aura Easy is designed to consistently achieve a natural look. It produces a beautiful chameleon effect to blend in with the tooth structure. In short, the product delivers exceptional aesthetics for your day-to-day dental needs with just four shades that do it all.

How does the composite handle?

Aura Easy is made up of SDI's unique and proprietary filler technology, which delivers an optimum blend of handling and performance. The result is a nonsticky, easy-to-sculpt, and nonslumping universal composite that can meet virtually all your day-to-day needs.

Tell me about your unique chemistry and how it affects Aura Easy.

Aura Easy combines a low shrinking resin system and a unique morphology of ultra high density (UHD) glass filler, which provides an extremely high strength interface. It can withstand high compressive forces while still delivering amazing handling and polishing properties.
