Garrison Dental Solutions has released a new, contoured sectional matrix band with a subgingival extension. Dubbed the Extended Small Band, this product is an enhancement to the Composi-Tight? Sectional Matrix System. The system now boasts five matrix band sizes, offering dentists the most extensive range of sectional bands available for achieving tight, anatomical, posterior-composite restorations. The extremely thin band (.0012O) is designed to restore the proximal anatomy of bicuspids and molars. It features a cervical extension, allowing for easy placement of the band past the cervical margin without interference from the buccal and lingual gingiva. When using this band in conjunction with the Composi-Tight? system?s patented G-Rings, tight contacts are easy to achieve.
