Cerisaw is a highly recommended, hand-held saw used for opening interproximal contacts. The metal frame, designed for single-handed use, holds a serrated blade. Two sizes are available for use in anterior and posterior areas. Clinicians find CeriSaw especially useful for opening anterior contacts bonded together during veneer placement and restorative procedures. The blade cuts well and remains sharp even after several autoclaving cycles. Replacement blades are available.

Palfique Estelite is a highly recommended, submicron composite for anterior rest-orations. It contains sphe-rical particles averaging 0.2 µm and a filler volume of 71 percent. One of the most highly rated features of this composite is that fewer shades are required for shade matching. The 14 shades, available in either syringes or preloaded tips, pick up shading from adjacent tooth structure, which provides very effective blending and translucency. The small particle size contributes to easy finishing and produces an excellent surface gloss.

Well-illustrated, thorough manuals and excellent technical support allow easy installation and operation. The focal range of the camera allows clinicians to view and capture both full-face and fine-detail images. The images are readily enhanced using the foot switch and easily manipulated using the controls on the docking station panel. Once captured, images can be electronically magnified, flipped vertically or horizontally, or rotated in 90-degree increments.

The large depth of field provides clear, focused images. Clinicians find the detail and clarity of the images to be excellent, making AcuCam Concept IV an extremely useful tool for communicating with patients.
