Electronic Control Concepts introduces the Model 8700 X-ray Pulse Counter & Exposure Time Meter. The Model 8700 is used to measure the time or duration of radiation output produced by a wide variety of medical and dental X-rays. A sensitive X-ray detector in the 8700 allows direct measurement of exposure from the X-ray head. The 8700 replaces not only mechanical impulse counters, but other electronic counters. A remote sensor is available to permit operation up to three meters away from the X-ray. In addition to direct X-ray measurement, the 8700 also is capable of measuring contact closure time using the test leads provided. ECC`s small, hand-held instrument conveniently fits in a small tool box, jacket pocket or handbag. It uses a standard 9-volt battery and can be used to measure the exposure time of AC or DC X-rays. All units come with a one-year warranty.
