Corporation (USDC) has selected PMI DeltaCare, the HMO affiliate of San Francisco-based Delta Dental Plan of California, to offer dental benefits to nearly one million retirees of the uniformed services.
The USDC/DeltaCare program is the first national dental-benefit program offered to retired military personnel.
The program will be available initially in Texas, Colorado and Florida, and will be offered on a voluntary basis for $11.95 a month per single person, $19.90 for subscribers with only one dependent and $29.60 for full-family coverage.
USDC is a private company formed by retired military officers to develop affordable health benefits for uniform-services retirees.
