Dr. John Zargari of Ocoee, Fla. dreamed of a dental office that didn't look or feel like one. He realized this dream in March of 2001. It's the little things that count in Dr. Zargari's office, like the luscious aroma of candles that eliminates any lingering "dental office smell." Instead of scrubs, his staff wears a smart uniform of matching street clothes. Satellite TVs in each treatment room help relax and distract the patients.
The office was built with the intent of surpassing the patient's expectations for a typical dental visit. All the treatment rooms have large, 6' x 8' windows with a view of the landscaped gardens, which further enhances the home-like atmosphere. Natural light and canned incandescent lights replace the fluorescent fixtures that are normally seen in a dental office. Everything in this office is done with the patient's comfort in mind.
Each treatment room has a unique function. Two were created for both hygiene and the new-patient experience. Two other treatment rooms were created for quick appointments, while the final treatment room is used for longer cosmetic and reconstructive visits. This last room has doors for total privacy.
Efficiency, quality of care, and customer service are common topics at the regularly scheduled team meetings. To achieve the ultimate in treatment room efficiency, the 12 o'clock position or rear wall is used for equipment delivery to both the doctor and the assistant.
Congratulations to Dr. Zargari and his team for creating a uniquely wonderful dental practice.
