Sonic orbital scaler

Nov. 1, 1997
JR Rand Corporation introduces its new 6400 Orbital Scaler. The scaler combines the effectiveness of orbital-scaling movement with low-frequency vibrations to provide great benefits to both the clinician and the patient. It has high patient acceptance, causing less bleeding and sensitivity than ultrasonic instruments. Because there is no heat generated, water spray can be kept to a minimum, making the patient more comfortable and giving the clinician greater visibility at the treatment site.
