Willo launches pediatric smart toothbrush with gum sensors
BrushBot by Willo is the company's latest release in electronic toothbrushes, following the success of their original model, AutoFlo. BrushBot is designed to make a daily oral care routine easy for pediatric patients. It includes sensors to guide the child's hand along their gumline, a tie-in app to track brushing habits, long battery life, and can remove seven times more plaque than a manual toothbrush, according to a press release by BusinessWire.1
Willo's chief dental officer, Dr. Joel Berg notes: "Willo is the only kids' toothbrush that addresses all three key problems we see in pediatric dentistry: correct bristle angle to reach along the gumline, consistent brushing motion to ensure effective plaque removal and brushing for the full two minutes."
This product comes in three sizes to accommodate different age groups: small (children aged 5-7), medium (aged 8-11), and large (ages 12 and above).1

Designed with CDC and ADS safety recommendations in mind, RipeWipes can support proper handpiece maintenance while removing 99.9% of blood and bacteria.2

Anesthetic buffering pen with easy application features
OnPharma's new Onset EZ buffering pen is designed for seamless anesthetic buffering in the op. According to the company's press release for this product, Onset EZ can deliver 30 buffering doses without extra packaging or sharps waste and does not require specialized training. Here's how it works:
A dental local anesthetic cartridge can be inserted into the open end of the pen, which is then used for buffering by rotating the green Actuator Knob 180 degrees in the direction of the arrow displayed. When completed, the cartridge can be easily depressed by pressing the two release tabs at the tip of the pen.5
Mike Brown, OnPharma's chief commercial officer, explained the reason behind this design in the product's press release: "Our customers wanted a simple and inexpensive buffering device that could sit in each operatory right next to their local anesthetic cartridges, and one that would make it practical to buffer every anesthetic injection."5
