Ms. Thomas began her career at Heartland Dental as a hygienist, advancing to a Clinical Administrator, Thrive Consultant, founding Executive Team member and now serves as a member of Heartland Dental’s Clinical Board and within the Regional Director of Operations group. Ms. Thomas has collaborated to develop many of Heartland Dental’s foundational and current training programs, as well as operational and leadership systems.
A 1985 graduate of Lake Land College Dental Hygiene Program in Mattoon, Illinois and a certified instructor for The Institute at Heartland Dental, Ms. Thomas currently oversees Heartland Dental’s Affiliation Integration and De Novo Integrations Teams. She oversees the Affiliation and De Novo Orientation programs, and teaches internal Heartland courses including Bell Advanced Achievement Leadership 1 and 2, Mastery in Communication, Group Practice Management Integration, Thrive Consulting Training, Advanced Train the Trainer for management personnel as well as Heartland’s Clinical Regional Directors of Operations, along with development of customized programs. Ms. Thomas is a certified trainer for Bell Leadership program through Dr. Gerald Bell at the University of North Carolina, along with other advanced training certifications.
