The Food and Drug Administration is proposing labeling statements for medical gloves and latex-containing dental devices. The FDA wants to make sure health-care professionals and consumers know about "the presence and risks of natural rubber latex, and to ensure a safe, medical environment for persons who have been identified as sensitive to natural rubber latex."
