The real value of the Jouvin tray is apparent when separating the impression material for the model. Due to the dismantability of the tray, the impression can be removed from the model without breaking the model. The fiberglass-filled, polyamid material is as stiff as steel and can be sterilized by autoclave or dry heat. It is patient-friendly and color-coded for easy size identification.
