A single-use mask liner for use in conjuction with Porter/Brown Conscious Sedation Scavenger systems is available from Porter Instrument Co.

The liners insert into existing scavenging masks to increase sterilization efficiency. The mask liners are disposed of after each procedure, therefore minimizing the risk of cross-infection. They are constructed of a latex-free material and available to dentists for a fraction of the cost of sterilization in steam or chemical autoclaves.
