SPSmedical Supply Corp. offers the SporAmpule® Steam Biological Indicator, an error-free, in-office BI system that`s certified for use with saturated steam-sterilization processes, including liquids. After processing in a normal load, the Spor-Ampule is incubated at 56°C for 48 hours. A purple to yellow color change and visible turbidity of a processed SporAmpule indicates sterilizer failure. As with all spore tests offered by SPSmedical, the SporAmpule® Steam BI is designed to meet AAMI, USP, and Mil Standards.
