Mk IV implant

Aug. 1, 1999
Brånemark System introduces a new solution to the challenges of treating patients with soft -alveolar bone. The Mk IV implant features a slightly tapered body that compresses soft bone along its entire length. When inserted in Type III or IV bone, this design provides an initial bone-to-implant interface that is less susceptible to micromotion. This primary stability optimizes conditions for successful osseointegration.
