Following user-survey results, many innovative features have been added: single-latch door opening, single screw to remove abrasive wheel, and self-cleaning design to prevent stone build-up.

Several safety features have been included in the unit`s design: enclosed motor, a safety "trip-to-off" switch in the event the door is opened during operation or should there be a power failure, and a waterproof on/off switch.
