Hu-Friedy introduces Satin Steel, a complete line of perio and diagnostic instruments designed for practitioner comfort and efficiency.

Hu-Friedy introduces Satin Steel, a complete line of perio and diagnostic instruments designed for practitioner comfort and efficiency.

Satin Steel features a maximum diameter handle that allows clinicians to loosen their grasp, decreasing pressure on their hands. It also features the exclusive ComfortZone™ - an extra-wide, gradual taper between the handle and the tip. This makes Satin Steel the widest instrument available at the most crucial point - where

clinicians hold the instrument during use. The gradual taper reduces pressure points too, adding to clinicians` comfort even more.

The unique, rich texture on the stainless-steel handle allows a confident grasp and greater rotational control. Satin Steel also has been properly weighted. Heavy instruments have been shown to increase operator fatigue, while instruments that are too light cause the clinician to pinch in order to grip the instrument effectively. This is another contributor to operator fatigue.

Satin Steel instruments can be purchased only through authorized Hu-Friedy dealers, and are available in Hu-Friedy`s most popular scalers, curettes, probes, explorers, expros, and a mirror handle.
