ESPE America reports that Durelon, a popular polycarboxylate cement, now is available in predose Maxicaps to ensure easy application and consistent mix with every use. Durelon is reported for the cementation of crowns, bridges, orthodontic bands and as a liner, due to its reliable performance and excellent biocompatibility. It is preferred for those patients with low-pain threshold and for hypersensitive teeth. The new Maxicap application was designed to save time and promote asepsis. The material can be dispensed directly from the Maxicap and spread in a thin layer. The introductory package, available through dental dealers, contains the Maxicap Activator, Applier and 20 Maxicaps.
