Lang Dental recently introduced DesenZal for the treatment and prevention of dentin hypersensitivity. DesenZal is an easy-to-use, colorless, odorless and nonirritating solution of HEMA, benzalkonium chloride and sodium fluoride. It does not contain glutaraldehyde.

DesenZal seals dentin tubules to eliminate pain associated with scaling, root-planing, tooth decay, cervical recession and periodontal disease. The recommended 30-second application may be made with a brush or cotton pellet.
