Alvaro Ordonez, DDS, received his dental degree from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia. He continued his studies at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, where he completed a fellowship in temporomandibular joint disorder, dental occlusion, and facial pain. He was trained by Noshir Mehta, DMD; Albert Forgione, PhD; and Harold Gelb, DMD, in different techniques of conservative TMD treatment.
