Sony Electronics introduces a new digital, still camera (DKC-CM30), incorporating progressive scan technology for use in applications including scientific research and analysis, documentation and archiving, medical student and patient education, medical publishing, and web-page design.

Sony Electronics introduces a new digital, still camera (DKC-CM30), incorporating progressive scan technology for use in applications including scientific research and analysis, documentation and archiving, medical student and patient education, medical publishing, and web-page design.

The camera can be controlled by a remote-control unit or a computer, further simplifying the image-capturing and viewing process for science professionals.

Images stored in the DKC-CM30 can be transferred to a PC running Windows® 95 software with the supplied MGI® "PhotoSuite SE" software. Many of the features of the camera can be controlled from the software interface.

The camera comes complete with remote-shutter release, RS-232 cable, video cable, RCA/BNC conversion connector, and MGI software.
