The American Dental Association is supporting new Food and Drug Administration rules on marketing and advertising tobacco products. In a letter to President Clinton, ADA President William Ten Pas applauded Clinton`s plans to get tough with tobacco companies and make it harder for kids to buy cigarettes. Dr. Ten Pas urged Clinton to include chewing tobacco when discussing teen tobacco use because "it is important that children understand that chewing can be just as deadly as smoking."
