Marie Fluent applies real world experience, cutting edge knowledge, and interactive fun to infection prevention and OSHA training. She is passionate about patient and staff safety and deeply committed to making a difference. Marie is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and her dental career spans over 30 years, to include roles as dentist (business owner and associate), dental assistant, office manager, and infection control coordinator; as well as speaker, author, educator, clinical instructor and infection control consultant. Through her writing, webinars, and lectures, she has educated thousands of dental professionals and students both nationally and internationally. She has written numerous peer reviewed articles on infection control in the dental setting, OSHA compliance and responsible antibiotic prescribing. Dr. Fluent is an Educational Consultant for the Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP).
