New inexpensive device makes hard-to-reach areas accessible

Ivoclar Vivadent introduces Gingijet, a new and inexpensive device for the irrigation of periodontal pockets. The newly-developed Gingijet makes hard-to-reach areas accessible for dentists as well as patients. Gingijet consists of a pump/pressure container and exchangeable accessories, including a flexible tube and a choice of either metal or plastic cannula, permitting targeted application of antimicrobial mouthrinse, according to individual requirements. Pressure required for irrigation is built up by manual pumping of the container, permitting targeted application of an antimicrobial mouthrinse, acording to individual requirements.
