Trex Medical Corporation has received clearance from the FDA to market the Logicon Caries Detector™, a new diagnostic tool that detects and predicts dental caries when used with the TREXtrophy RVG® Digital Dental Imaging System.

TREXtrophy will market the diagnostic tool in the U.S. as an add-on to the TREXtrophy RVG digital dental X-ray system, which features the industry`s most reliable high-resolution, imaging-sensor. TREXtrophy RVG reduces the patient`s X-ray exposure by up to 90 percent, as compared with conventional dental X-ray systems.
