Mark A. Vitale, DMD, is chair of the Council of Governmental Affairs at the American Dental Association, chair of the ADA State Public Affairs Oversight Workgroup, chair of the New Jersey Dental Political Action Committee at the NJ Dental Association, and past president of Middlesex County Dental Society. Dr. Vitale has been advocating for his patients in Edison, New Jersey, for years to make sure dental insurance is fair for all parties. His knowledge and experiences on what providers and patients face when it comes to dental insurance have helped educate the next generation of advocates on a variety of priority reform issues.
