The mask meets criteria for ASTM standards for moderate marrier protection. The mask is intended for use against dust, airborne particles, moisture, spray, and splatter.

The Defend+Plus Pleated Procedural Ear-Loop Mask contains an antifog foam nosepiece, which absorbs moisture to prevent the fogging of eyewear. It is manufactured from soft, three-ply, fiberglass-free material and pleated for comfort. Elastic ear-loops are latex-free.
