Winners of the Poster Session Forum were announced Sept. 15, 2009, during the 95th annual meeting of the American Academy of Periodontology.
The research poster competition was sponsored by the Natural Dentist.
Research abstracts will appear in the November 2009 issue of the Journal of Periodontology.
Award recipients included Hidetoshi Shimauchi, DDS, PhD (Basic Science Award), Naoyuki Sugano, DDS, PhD (Clinical Science Award), and John Decker, DMD (Clinical Impact Award).
