MacDent Pro is a practice management software based on Apple's Mac OS X platform. This practice software was written by dentists, for dentists.

Because end-users created the software, MacDent Pro takes a new approach to the management of a dental practice. MacDent Pro administers patient management and accounting in order to offer an organizational Mac-based solution for a dental practice.

Like the front desk of an office, the scheduler is the centerpiece of the software, and all actions are based off of it.
