SCOTTSDALE, Arizona--The American Association of Dental Consultants' Annual Spring Workshop was held May 7-9, 2009, in Scottsdale.

Following the election of officers, Dr. Michael D. Weitzner, United HealthCare, Rockville, Md., was installed as 2009-2010 president; Dr. Karl H. Gruendl, Fenton, Mo., was installed as president-elect; and Dr. Lawrence M. Hoffman, St. Louis, Mo., as secretary/treasurer.

Dr. Gary A. Colangelo, Rohoboth Beach, Del., and Dr. Marc K. Zweig, Parsippany, N.J., were elected to the board of directors.

Featured workshop speakers included Dr. Omer K. Reed, Dr. V. Kim Kutsch, Dr. Darlene M. Chan, Dr. David Wong, Gregory L. Sawyer, Dr. Dale A. Miles, Dr. Jack Dillenberg, Dr. Carl Driscoll, Ruth Ann Woodley and Susan Fournier.

The theme of the conference was "Navigating the Changing Landscape of the Dental Consultant."

The Association scheduled its next meeting for May 6-8, 2010, at the Marriott Mission Valley, San Diego, Calif.
