Centrix Dental provides fluoride varnish to affiliates of National Children's Oral Health Foundation
CHARLOTTE, North Carolina--Centrix Dental has made a donation of 90,000 doses of fluoride varnish to the National Children's Oral Health Foundation to help prevent childhood dental decay.
Centrix President Bill Dragan said, "We are excited to be able to provide Fluorodose Fluoride Varnish to NCOHF to help preserve the oral health of thousands of kids in need. Quick and easy prevention using products such as Fluorodose will prevent a lot of unnecessary pain and suffering in the future and promote dental care awareness for lifelong oral health."
"Centrix Dental has provided our nonprofit affiliates a most effective product for prevention of pediatric dental disease: fluoride varnish," said Fern Ingber, NCOHF's president and CEO.
"This generous donation will help prevent cavities for thousands of underserved children across the country who otherwise might never have access to this type of preventive measure."
The donation, valued at $75,000, will provide fluoride varnish at no cost to NCOHF affiliates. Fluoride varnish has been found to be highly effective in preventing caries on permanent teeth and also to prevent or reduce caries in the primary teeth of young children.
