Denali announces value-added shades to AURA Veneer Cement

May 27, 2009

AURA Veneer Cement, used for cementation of all-ceramic and composite restorations, has been expanded to include value "shades."

New value shades allow three-dimensional control of hue, value, and opacity. Selection of the cement varying in these three components (hue, value, and opacity) can provide adjustments chairside to minor mismatch problems between a veneer and tooth.

Toning down of a too bright veneer or adding incisal blue/grey effects are some examples. The new "value-added" shades also use Denali's proprietary setting chemistry, and like the original AURA Veneer product, are self-adhesive. This makes the cement more effective.

Denali also provides in each kit a Shade and Translucency Guide, along with clinician suggestions for using the cement. Case histories are available that document the development and evidence-based validation of AURA Veneer cement.
