CHICAGO, Illinois--Hu-Friedy, a leading manufacturer of hand-held dental instruments, has announced the celebration of its 100th year in business serving dentists and dental hygienists.

The year-long centennial celebration will kick off February 22 at the Midwinter Dental Meeting in Chicago, and continue at a party following the meeting.

A Chicago-based company, Hu-Friedy was founded in 1908. Today the company is owned by the Saslow Family. Throughout the years, dentists and dental hygienists have relied on the company to deliver precision and craftsmanship in instrumentation that is critical to efficient dental practice management.
