Dental Resources is making an abrasive star for smoothing thermoplastics. The star design will smooth areas that a normal circular-type wheel will not. With its mandrel, it can fit onto any slow-speed handpiece. The abrasive stars are ideal for smoothing and polishing acrylics, mouthguard materials, all thermoplastics, Proflex, and more.
The new Abrasive Stars are available in packages of 12 abrasive wheels with mandrel.
