Speakers

Jeffrey W. Horowitz, DMD, FAGD, DASBA

Dr. Jeff Horowitz, an admitted "CE junkie," is the founder and clinical director of the Carolina Center for Advanced Dentistry, and the Advanced Sleep & TMJ Centers, multidisciplinary group practices in the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina area. His main interests include the oro-systemic connection, cosmetic smile rehabilitation, complex restorative cases, treatment of sleep disordered breathing, orthodontics, and temporomandibular joint disorders. His many affiliations include the Academy of General Dentistry where he is a Fellow, where he served as a president for South Carolina and as a member of the National Dental Education Council. Dr. Horowitz is also a fellow in the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and has served as a mentor and scientific advisor at the Kois Center in Seattle. As an industry key opinion leader, Dr. Horowitz lectures internationally, has been published in peer-reviewed dental literature, contributed to many television news media reports, and most recently cofounded Dentists IN the Know, a social media platform for dental professionals to collaborate.

Jennifer Bell, DDS, FAGD, FICD

A native North Carolinian, Dr. Jennifer Bell earned her undergraduate and doctoral degrees at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She currently owns two practices in the Raleigh, North Carolina area where she practices full time. Dr. Bell is a graduate of the Kois Continuum and a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, Pierre Fauchard Academy, and the International College of Dentists. As an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Bell serves on the Dental Practice Council and as a National Spokesperson. She is currently an educator and product evaluator for Align Technologies while also serving on their North America GP advisory board. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Bell is busy raising three kids with her husband Brian.

Chad C. Duplantis, DDS, FAGD

Dr. Duplantis received his DDS from UTHSC San Antonio in 1999 and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Baylor College of Dentistry in 2000. He maintains a small group private practice in Fort Worth, Texas, focusing on esthetic and restorative dentistry. Dr. Duplantis is an author, lecturer, and key opinion leader in dentistry. His interests are mainly in digital, implant, and restorative dentistry. In 2020, Dr. Duplantis cofounded the Facebook group Dentists IN the Know, which is designed to keep the dental industry well-informed.
