CS 3500 Intraoral Scanner

from Carestream Dental.

The scanner allows you to scan patients' teeth directly, and then obtain high-quality, high-precision digital results almost immediately. This provides the measurements you need for custom-fit and functional restorations. Enjoy efficient patient-focused scanning since many of the inconveniences of scanning are removed. In addition, you can focus more on a patient's mouth instead of your screen. Because the tip is in contact with the tooth, the scanner is easier to use and more comfortable for dentists and patients alike. There is a built-in heater to prevent fogging that streamlines the workflow, and a "sleep mode" saves energy after a period of nonuse. The image quality of the CS 3500 Intraoral Scanner enhances the process even further, helping you identify margin lines, contact points, and undercuts. True color 2-D images and 3D scans clearly distinguish tooth structures from soft tissue and restorations. This system provides a virtually automatic bite registration, and little image manipulation is required. Unlike other scanners, the CS 3500 requires no trolley to cart from room to room. The scanner is ergonomic to hold and easy to handle, and it can be easily shared with a USB cable that can be plugged into any workstation. The scanner is fully compatible with CS Restore software. This software is part of the CS Solutions portfolio, as well as third-party open CAD design software such as 3Shape, Dental Wings, and exocad. It gives you the flexibility to acquire scans and design and mill restorations in office via CS Restore and the CS 3000 milling system, or send the digital impressions to the lab via CS Connect. This provides an easy online connection between you and the lab. The innovative CS 3500 is one of the most compact, easy-to-use, 3-D color intraoral scanners on the market. Handheld and portable, it requires no trolley, no traditional impression material, and no powder. The ingenious light guidance system shines green when the scanning is successful and orange when rescanning is necessary. This enables you to focus on the patient, not the monitor. The end result is a highly precise digital impression of a patient's mouth in minutes. This scanner will simplify your practice, and make patients smile when you tell them, "No more impression material."
